Sam Bilcik, RDH

Sam is a Registered Dental Hygienist originally from Greater Sudbury, Ontario.  After graduating from Cambrian College Sam came to British Columbia to experience what this beautiful province and Kamloops has to offer. Since joining the team Sam has taken continuing education in multiple different areas to maintain a fresh, preventive-based experience for her clients. Sam is focused on providing excellent care and a positive patient experience that is enjoyable.  In her spare time Sam enjoys camping, hiking, spending time with friends and of course, shopping. She also enjoys travelling, although most time off is spent in Ontario, she treasures quality time with her family back home.  She’s a small town northern girl, living out west, enjoying everything life has to offer, but will never forget the people she loves and where she came from.

Doris Brakop, RDH

Graduating from the Canadian Academy of Dental Hygiene in Mississauga, Ontario, Doris is very enthusiastic about helping people improve and maintain a healthy smile. She believes a team effort is the best way to create to accomplish this goal and create the brightest smile possible. Doris loves being part of this amazingly positive dental team and coming to work each day! Her passions in life are downhill and skate skiing during winter and waterskiing and mountain biking during the hot B.C. Summers. She has two grown children, both incredible boys.  And yes she does floss everyday!!

Mag Grant, RDH

 Mag has returned to Kamloops after being away for 11 years and is loving it!!! I am excited to be a member of an outstanding team that is truly dedicated to personalised patient care. I graduated from the University of Vancouver Island and was awarded the Sunstar GUM award for Outstanding Achievement in Preventative Dental Hygiene. It continues to be my goal to work with each individual to help them achieve their oral hygiene goals. When not working I am generally hiking in the hills with my puppy Peet; other than hiking I love bikes, yummy food, and yoga!!

Cheryl McCulloch,  Dental Administrative Assistant

Cheryl brings with her 5+ years of experience with dental administration to our office.   Effectively handling difficult insurance claims Cheryl will help you get the most out of your dental insurance.  If you are concerned about finances, Cheryl will help with creative solutions.   She and her husband moved to Kamloops a year and a half ago from Vancouver to raise her 2 small children Hunter and Hailea.  They are enjoying living the country life just inside Barnhartvale. 

Sherell Gjernes, Reception

 Recently joining our dental team, Sherell is a dental adminstrative assistant graduating from Salmon Arm, BC.  Likely the first person you will speak with at our office, Sherell will help you to understand your dental insurance and effectively book appointments to fit your busy schedule.  Sherell and her husband Clay are from our wonderful city of Kamloops.  They enjoy the great weather and outdoor activities Kamloops has to offer with their two dogs Milo and Maggie.
