What is LVI and what can an LVI Smile do for you?
The Las Vegas Institute (LVI) is the premier post graduate teaching institute in the United States. It is located in Summerlin, a suburb of Las Vegas. The LVI campus has nearly 70,000 square feet of buildings dedicated to the advancement of the most modern of techniques in dentistry as well as a general philosophy of ideal patient centered care and service. The facility also includes two large ultra modern teaching clinics for actual patient care. At its inception, LVI was one of the first post graduate programs offered where dentists could bring their own patients to perform the most progressive, primarily cosmetic, techniques under close, direct supervision. Today, the LVI curriculum is very comprehensive, covering a wide variety of courses on different clinical aspects and techniques. These courses not only involve the visiting doctors, but their office teams as well. By involving both doctors and their teams, LVI’s philosophy of treating our patients in a manner consistent with how we would like to be treated is easily integrated into a typical dental practice. This is primarily accomplished by developing thorough comprehensive treatment plans that reflect out patient’s long term goals and desires.
